If you prefer that someone else authorises your absences, then you will need to add a Holiday Approver. To do this you need to create the Holiday Approver by going into the Staff directory and choosing the person(s) you want to be able to approve your holiday and creating a Group. Then go to your Profile and click on your Settings tab. Under staff groups that can approve your holiday check the box next to the name of the group you want to approve your holidays
All future holiday requests will then be sent to the Holiday approvers.
