Can I Run Reports on Timesheets?
There are four Timesheet reports available within the Reports section of the app. These are:
Time Spent by Client
This report shows all time logged by staff, grouped by the client that the time was recorded under.
The Time Spent by Client report will show the total amount of time recorded against each client company-wide. It will default to all time recorded in the current week, however, you may use the period filters at the top to see different results.
Time Spent by Project
This report shows all time logged by staff, grouped by the project that the time was recorded under. The Time Spent by Project report will show the total amount of time recorded against every project under each client company-wide. It will default to all time recorded in the current week across all clients, however, you may use the clients and period filters at the top to see different results.
Time Spent by Task
This report shows all time logged by staff across all projects and clients.
The Time Spent by Task report allows you to view a list of all time entries recorded by your staff company-wide.
The report will default to show all clients, projects, active employees and departments for the current week. However, you can use the filters at the top of the page to specify the results you wish to see.
Time Spent by Staff
This report shows all time logged by staff, grouped by the staff member that the time was logged by.
The Time Spent by Staff report will show the total amount of time recorded by each employee in your company. It will default to all time recorded in the current week across all clients and projects, however, you may use the clients, projects and period filters at the top to see different results.
Note that this report will not show you a breakdown of time spent by each employee across the different projects of clients. You will need to filter the report to show a specific project or client to find out how much time they spent on it within the time period being reported on.
NB: All reports can be exported into Excel using the icon in the top right corner of the report. The data that gets pulled into the export will be based on the filters that you have applied at the time the export is created, so please be sure to check this before you pull any data.
