How do I Assign a Manager?

You can assign a manager in 2 ways.

Via the Profile


Navigate to the profile of the employee you want to assign the manager to (i.e. if you wish to assign Joe Bloggs as Jane Smith's manager, you need to go to Jane's profile). 

Open the Job tab and then select the manager's name from the Manager drop down menu.

Click outside of the dropdown menu to save the changes. 

If you are assigning managers to multiple employees, you can navigate from each profile to land on the Job tab using the previous and next buttons at the top of the profile, or you can use the search bar next to this to locate a specific employee if not going through all users. 


Via the Organisation Chart


Navigate to your Organisation Chart and locate the employee you want to assign the manager to (i.e. if you wish to assign Joe Bloggs as Jane Smith's manager, you need to locate Jane on the org chart).

Click on the admin cog next to the employee's name and then select the manager's name from the Manager drop down menu.

Hit 'update <name>'s details'. 




The new manager will then begin to receive notifications regarding that employee and they will gain access to more details on the user's profile
