What can Staff Groups be Used for?

Staff Groups can be utilised for various purposes.

You can organise groups to include roles such as first aiders and fire marshals, as well as approvers for holiday, sickness, remote working requests, and expenses.

Additionally, you can assign employees to specific groups to manage and restrict holiday requests, ensuring that certain employees are not off at the same time.

Another use for staff groups is to share documents. If you have a specific group of people who need access to files uploaded to the system and you share these with a staff group, all users in the group will have access to that file. You can then edit the employees within the group to update who has access to those documents, rather than sharing files with individual employees and needing to manually update the share permissions for every document in the system.
