Can I Make it Mandatory for Staff to Enter a Reason for Sickness?

It is not possible to make the reason field on a sickness entry mandatory when staff initially enter their sick leave to the calendar. 

However, when staff are off for 7 days or less, you can ask them to complete a self-certification form. This form requires a reason to be entered and this will be recorded against the sick leave form you see in the calendar and your sickness reporting.
