Can I Ask Staff to Provide a Fit Note?
If you require staff to provide a fit note where an absence has lasted more than 7 calendar days, you can have the system trigger a notification to them to ensure that this is provided.
When this requirement is in place, the employee will receive a notification when an absence that lasts 7 days or more is entered. This will include a call to action that asks them to confirm once they have provided their fit note.
To set this up, go to your Company Settings > Sickness and tick the option to request a fit note when an employee takes more than 7 calendar days leave.
