holiday reminder email - manager and different interval
I've just had the standard email about who has holidays to take before the 1st April. I would like to have a email to managers at the different intervals to remind them and the staff they managed about the number they have left. Currently we end up having a number of people who have 8 or more to be used in a very short time window as we do not normally allow holidays to be rolled over.

Company tools list
It would be great to have a page on StaffSquared where new employees can see a list of tools that the company use.
It could show the name of the tool, a short description and the url.
For instance our company use Passpack, Trello, Slack etc..
This would enable new starters to see exactly what they need to register to in order to work effectively in the company.

File folders for grouping shared and individual files
It would be very useful to be able group files into customisable folders eg: Company Policy Documents, Payslips, etc. And also to have a file attachment functionality under the Appraisals tab.

Delete multiple holidays from the calendar
If you block book your staff for a day's holiday, it would be really useful if you were able to delete that block booking in one go, rather than individually deleting each absence.

Company wall / forum for company-wide discussions
We love the comments / messaging feature of the app, but we think it would be great to add a global comms feature.
At the moment, we can make announcements to all employees and that goes onto everyone's personal wall. We'd like to engage in company-wide discussions and it would be good to have some kind of company wall or a forum where posts are shared outside of a user's context.
Such information / threads would then appear in a section on everyone's dashboard.
I hope that makes sense?

Promotion / Job Application
It would be really handy to have an area where you can log if a member of staff has applied for an internal vacancy (noting strengths and weaknesses for training) and outcomes

Give options to exclude from holidays and give options to pay/not pay for sickness absence
Under 'other' is 'bereavement leave' and we pay this leave without it being deducted from the annual holiday allowance. I have been using the 'sick' tab instead to record paid bereavement leave that does not come from holiday entitlement because your option automatically takes it off the holiday.
We also have the option of paying someone for sick leave or not.
Can an options box be added to the 'sickness' and 'other' to choose a pay or not paid option please?1 vote -
Task for multiple staff
With tasks, it would be useful to be able to add a goal just once for all staff or selected staff to complete rather than adding it several times or adding each member of staff on the 2nd page where the due date is specified.

Thank Staff to be sent to manager / Admin
It would be great if when staff were thanked by each other it got copied to the managers and admin because its only by chance or running a report that we get to see it

Add ability to allow staff to accept/reject invites to company events
When a company event is created email all staff with an option which will allow them to accept the invitation or decline it. Something a bit like 'I will be attending' or 'I am unable to attend'.
That way, using the company event option would become more powerful and allow people to organise numbers.

Allow admins/managers to suggest alternative time off if staff request isn't feasible
At the moment it's only possible to approve or reject a time off request. The staff member then has to submit an alternative holiday request. It would be useful if admins and managers could propose an alternative set of dates for the request that the staff member can then approve.

Include a open ended holiday / leave option
Include a feature which works exactly the same as sickness but allows for other types of 'events'. For e.g. some of my company's staff regularly go 'offshore' but we don't know how long for when they leave. Having a rolling feature like sickness which can be open ended would be so powerful for this as we wouldn't have to backload or guess a return date. We could just let it tick over and then stop it when they return. This could be handy not just for well site but other leave such as open ended family leave (when a staff…

Add a read by date to private docs shared with employees
As an admin, it would be nice to share a private doc with an employee and set a read by date for them and if they haven't actioned by that date, the admin is informed. Also if the employee could be reminded that they need to read by the certain date too that would be good.

Team calendars
It would be really helpful to be able to have a team view on calendars. At the moment everyone shows on the same calendar, which is helpful, but it would be great to be able to:
- filter to show different teams

Allow staff data to be exported in vCard format
In addition to Excel give people the ability to export their staff information to .vcf vCard format.

2-way communication
It would be great if we could use staff squared as a forum. At the moment we can do corporate broadcasts to all staff, & staff can send individual thank you messages.. However it would be great if additional 2-way communication could be facilitated; e.g. when a social event is organised enable staff to comment and share info; enable staff to respond to corporate broadcasts or make suggestions so that comments are seen by all.
